Bright and Cheery Birthday Card

I would like to share with you today a nice, bright and happy birthday card.  I have used the Reason to Smile stamp set which was an exclusive set now no longer available.  However, any of the lucky ladies who did receive this set can use it to re-create this card or it would be easy enough to substitute another of Stampin'Up!'s gorgeous stamp sets.

The colours in the photo are not as clear as they could be but I have used Whisper White, Daffodil Yellow and Pumpkin Pie and in real life it is rather bright.

This was an extremely simple card to put together.  I just love the beautiful flowers in this stamp set.  This little card is going out to all my stamp club girls.  Hope they like it.

Supplies used:  Cardstock - Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Daffodil Yellow, Inkpads - Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight, Stamp Sets - Reason to Smile and Happiest Birthday Wishes (Hostess Set), Pumpkin Pie Taffeta Ribbon

Fancy Folds Card Class

Sharing with you today a couple of cards we created in last month's Fancy Folds Class.

Our first card was created using the new Framelits Dies available in the Autumn-Winter Catalogue.

We also used the gorgeous Apothecary Art stamp set which is so beautiful and has been getting well used in my household.

I used Rose Red to stamp the main image and then used the blender pen to drag the colour into the flowers as well as adding a little Pear Pizzazz to the leaves.

A very pretty and feminine card.
Supplies used for Framelit Card:
Stamp Set - Apothecary Art, Cardstock - Confetti White & Rose Red, Inks - Rose Red and Pear Pizzazz
Dies - Labels Framelits, Embossing Folder - Petals a Plenty, Miscellaneous - Blender Pens, Sponges, Gemstones

Our next card is a Z fold card.  A pretty clean and simple card.   To add a bit of extra interest I used the colour spritzer tool to spritz the white background.  To create the flower I used the Blossom punch (again available in the new Autumn-Winter Catalogue)  and snipped in with scissors.  Just another way to use this very versatile punch to give it a different look.
Supplies use for Z Card:
Stamp Set - Happiest Birthday Wishes (Hostess Set), Cardstock - Whisper White, Riding Hood Red, Pacific Point
DSP - Twitterpated and Red Glimmer Paper, Ink - Riding Hood Red, Punch - Blossom and 3/4" Circle, Spritzer Tool
And here they are showing how they look when open.

If you missed out on this class and would like to know how to create your own special cards, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Simple and Easy Cards

I would like to share with you a couple more cards that I have just created.  I will be selling these at a craft market that I am attending next month.

They are both very simple designs but look really great (even better in real life).

My first card was created using the very pretty Summer Solstice stamp set and I finally used some of my beautiful Flirtatious Specialty Designer Series Paper.

My second card was created using the Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die.  I just love those butterflies.  Also great for using up all those smaller scrap pieces of cardstock and DSP we all have lying around.  As you can see I have made them in two different colours.

First Card Supplies Used - Cardstock - Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Inkpads - Melon Mambo, Old Olive, DSP - Flirtatious Specialty, Stamp Sets - Summer Solstice and Teeny Tiny Sentiments, Punches - Dotted Scallop Ribbon, Modern Label, Word Window, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, gemstones

Second Card Supplies Used - Cardstock - Confetti White and Poppy Parade/Lucky Limeade, DSP - Everyday Enchantment (Sale-a-Bration). Stamp Set - Happiest Birthday Wishes (Hostess Set), Inkpads - Poppy Parade/Lucky Limeade, Beautiful Wings Embosslit, gemstones

Mojo Monday Challenge 229

Here is my latest card for the Mojo Monday 229 Challenge.  I really enjoyed playing around with this card.  I decided to use the Well Worn DSP as I had a few bits of this paper cut up from my class held the previous day and thought why not use it up.

I think it turned out to be another great male card so now I have a few male cards all ready to go.

Supplies used:  River Rock and Early Espresso Cardstock, Well Worn DSP, Happiest Birthday Wishes (Hostess) and French Foliage Stamp Sets, Early Espresso Ink and Soft Suede Ink for sponging, Vintage Trinket Brads, Mini Library Clip and Early Espresso Bakers Twine.

If you are wondering where I used the French Foliage Stamp I stamped the large leaf in Versamark Ink on the small River Rock piece before stamping the birthday greeting over the top.  I am also finding that I am finding the Bakers Twine for male cards very useful, so I shall have to stock up on these before the Summer Mini ends.
