Male Birthday Card Order

Another special order - this time for
 a male birthday card.

Used one of my favourite "male"
colour combos of Real Red, Night of Navy
and Smoky Slate.

Also used my favourite stamp set of
Gorgeous Grunge and two retired
stamp sets - Simply Stars and the
sentiment from Henry Says.

I really can't do without my Gorgeous Grunge
set.  It makes creating awesome backgrounds
just so easy.

Watercolour Wings Birthday Card

This is a card I created as a special
order for one of my customers who
wanted a nice card with a bit of bling.

I was so pleased with how this one turned out.

I created her an Easel Card using the
Scallop Circle Framelit (the largest of
the Circle Framelits).

It is a bit hard to tell from the photos
but I first stamped the outside of the
butterfly wings in Cherry Cobbler and
then stamped the inside with Versamark
and embossed with Gold Embossing
Powder.

I also Gold Embossed some Petite Petal
flowers and around the outside of the
Cherry Cobbler card base circle.

The sentiment is from the very cute Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set.

Birthday Card for Dad

It was my Dad's birthday this week
and this is the card that I made
for him.

The tools and the background are not
from Stampin'Up! but I saw this awesome
card when I was at the Craft Expo last month
and just had to have the dies to create a
similar card.  I love the way it has
turned out.

To create the tools I firstly die cut with
Silver Cardstock (SU Silver Shimmer
which has now been retired) and then
die cut again with Basic Black Cardstock.
I then snipped the tops off the black
set of tools and glued them over the
top of the silver sets of
tools.  Voila - an awesome and realistic
looking tool set.

The peg board I die cut from cork.

The Stampin'Up! supplies I used to create this
card were:

July Stamp Club

Our July Stamp Club projects were this beautiful
butterfly card and a cute little gift box created
with the Gift Bag Punch Board.

For our first project we used the Bohemian
Washi Tape and the Butterflies Thinlets Dies to create our card.

I can't believe how simple it was
to create and how stunning it is.

These are the supplies I used
on this project:

Our second project was a little gift box
created with the Gift Bag Punch Board.

This box was created to the smallest
size noted on the punch board.
Initial card stock being cut at 10" x 4".
This gives us a small box with the
completed dimensions of approx 2 1/2"
long, 2" wide and 1 1/2" high.

I also taught the Stamp Club members
how to create these super simple brown
paper flowers using a scallop punch
and 8 to 10 layers of the brown packing
paper we receive an abundance of in every
Stampin'Up! order we receive.

This a list of the supplies used in
this project:

Holiday Fun

I am sorry I have been missing from this
page for the last few weeks.

It has been a busy time in our household
with not only our school holidays but
we also hosted an Indonesian student and
3 Chinese students during this time.

Hence, very little time for me to paper craft.

However, on one of the evenings the
girls requested I teach them some cards.

They all enjoyed themselves and we had
a lot of fun and they have each taken
2 cards home with them.

Special 50th Birthday Card

Today I would like to share with you a
Special Birthday Card I created for
my brother's 50th Birthday.

He is not really a very sentimental person
nor was he impressed with turning 50.
This is the reason I chose to create a card for
him with the Henry Says and Stars Stamp Sets
(both of which are retired unfortunately).

Thought I would go for the more comical
type of card.

The colours I have used are Island Indigo,
Watermelon Wonder and small amounts of
Mint Macaron.

Inside the card I added in some stars
and a large 50 (die cut) which I mounted
on some clear strips and had them pop
up when you opened the card.
