Black & White Four Feathers

Another card using the Four Feathers stamp set.  This time a very simple black and white card.

I have stamped the Happy Birthday Sentiment, Lines and Three Feathers in black memento ink on the base card of Whisper White.

I have then added another two feathers stamped on black cardstock and embossed with white embossing powder and positioned them over the top of the three stamped feathers with dimensionals.

The final touch is a Vintage Faceted button and Silver Ribbon.

This card was inspired by combining a few different ideas from Pinterest.

Supplies used:

Cardstock - Whisper White, Basic Black
Stamp Sets - Four Feathers & Butterfly Basics
Inkpads - Versamark and Black Memento Ink
Embossing Powder - White
Miscellaneous - Vintage Faceted Buttons and Silver Ribbon

Four Feathers

I have finally been able to sit down and make a few cards with  the Four Feathers stamp set.

I have been really having fun playing with this set and this time I decided on a bit more of a grungy look so my base card is Crumb Cake which I have swiped the versamark ink pad around the edges and embossed with Early Espresso Embossing powder.

My second layer is also Crumb Cake which I have torn and stamped randomly one of the feather stamps in Soft Suede and then sponged the edges.

I have stamped and embossed three different feathers on crumb cake (1 in white, 1 in gold and 1 in Early Espresso).  These have then been die cut with the matching framelits.

I also stamped and embossed on a piece of crumb cake the words Happy and Birthday in Gold which I then cut into banners for my sentiment.

To finish it all off I added in a cute doily and some twine and a Gold Button.

Supplies used:

Cardstock - Crumb Cake
Stamp Sets - Four Feathers, Crazy About You
Inkpads - Soft Suede, Versamark
Embossing Powder - White, Gold, Early Espresso
Miscellaneous - Doily, Gold Button, Twine

It's a New Year

Well it has been a little while since I have posted.  It was time for a bit of a rest after such a hectic end to 2014 and a little bit of me time.

I have had a lovely break over Christmas and now I am ready and itching to get back into creating.

I have already been having a little play with some of the new products from the Occasions Catalogue and just before Christmas I had to make a card for my daughter's friends 15th Birthday.

So my first share for this year is this card created with the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set and Butterfly Framelits from the new Occasions Catalogue.

Inside of Card
I also used one of my favourite colour combinations of Bermuda Bay and Pear Pizzaz.

You might even spy the sneaky little bit of Washi Tape I just had to include as the colours matched so well.

Supplies used:  Stamp Sets - Butterfly Basics, Dies - Butterflies Thinlits Dies, Cardstock -Bermuda Bay, Very Vanilla, Pear Pizzazz, Ink Pads - Bermuda Bay, Pear Pizzazz, Washi Tape
