SIMPLE STAMPING SATURDAY

Hello and welcome.  Thank you for joining me for another Simple Stamping Saturday.

Today's simple stamping project showcases the gorgeous Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper (DSP) making this card super simple to create.

I have started with a base card of Blackberry Bliss and then added a layer of the DSP.  Stamp one of your favourite sentiments (in this case I have used a sentiment from the very versatile Stitched All Around stamp set) in Blackberry Bliss ink and then use a Stitched Circle Die to die cut out.

Adhere the sentiment to the centre of the card with dimensionals.  Create a small bow from the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and adhere.

From just the one sheet of 12" x 12" DSP you will be able to create 6 cards quickly and easily.

If you would like to purchase any of the great products I have used to create this project here is the link for the list of products.

Of course, you won't be able to order the Peaceful Poppies DSP or Seam Binding until the 3rd January when the new Mini Catalogue starts - unless of course you decide to Join Stampin'Up! now (ask me how?)

Sharing some simple cards today created with the Happiness Blooms Memories & More Cards.

All these cards have simply used one or more of the cards from the pack and had some little embellishment with ribbon etc.

You can also purchase the Happiness Blooms Memories & More Cards & Envelopes which make creating your cards even easier, although I just created a few different coloured base cards for my projects.

There are some stunning designs included in this set of cards and for just $17.50 you receive a total of 50 double-sided cards (2 each of 25 designs).

So not only can you use your Memories & More card packs to create wonderful scrapbook memories, but also cards and other projects as well.

SIMPLE STAMPING WITH FOREVER LOVELY STAMP SET

Today's card is a very simple card using very minimal supplies and making great use of the Stamparatus.

I love the way this stamp set makes it so easy to create the flowers and the leaves and stems in two separate colours and by using the Stamparatus you can easily align the separate images exactly where they need to be stamped.

This set comes as a bundle with gorgeous co-ordinating dies.  On this card only the stamp set has been used.

I have created the card as a 4" x 4" note card.  The white layer is 3 3/4" x 3 3/4".  The Stamparatus has been set up to stamp at the bottom of the white layer and then turn the piece upside down to stamp again (again you will be stamping on the bottom).   This should make the top and the bottom of the card stamped evenly.

The flowers were stamped first in Real Red and then the leaves and stems in Granny Apple Green.

The sentiment is also from this set which has been stamped in Real Red on a separate strip of white cardstock and then adhered to the middle of the card.

Here is a closer look.

I then simply adhered the whole of the stamped white layer to a Real Red card base (4" x 4").

Voila one simple and very cute little notecard which could even be used as a Valentine Card.

These are the supplies used to create this card:
