For this week's simple stamping project I have two nautical themed cards to share with you. Both cards have been created using the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack and Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes together with the Sailing Home Stamp Set and Smooth Sailing Dies.
Instructions:
- Choose one of the cards from the Memories and More pack and adhere to the centre of a Notecard.
- Using Night of Navy Ink stamp the lighthouse and Thanks on a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock and die cut with the co-ordinating dies.
- Die cut an oval from Balmy Blue cardstock.
- Adhere the lighthouse to the oval and the Thanks sentiment over the lighthouse.
- Adhere the completed oval piece to the base card.
Instructions:
- Adhere a Memories and More card to the Whisper White notecard.
- Stamp onto a piece of scrap Whisper White cardstock - the compass and sentiment in Night of Navy Ink and a sailing boat in Early Espresso Ink.
- Die cut the sailing boat with the co-ordinating Smooth Sailing Dies.
- Use the 1 1/2" circle punch to cut out the compass and trim the sentiment to a rectangle.
- Die cut a wheel from Early Espresso cardstock with the die from the Smooth Sailing Dies.
- Adhere all the pieces overlapping as shown in the photo. (The boat and the sentiment have been popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals).
