MUSIC FROM THE HEART

Hello and welcome.  Thank you for joining me today.

I just love the new Music From The Heart Stamp Set which was inspired by a Million Sales Achiever Dawn Olchefske.

All the different images have simply been stamped in Black Memento ink onto Whisper White cardstock and then fussy cut.  These images have then been adhered (with dimensionals) to Whisper White cardstock die cut with stitched squares dies.  The squares have then been adhered to a base card of Basic Black cardstock with dimensionals.

A very simple black and white palette.  Of course, you could add any colour you like (red would be stunning).

UNDER MY UMBRELLA

Today's card uses the Under My Umbrella Stamp Set which I was lucky enough to win at the recent OnStage event.

This set also has a co-ordinating punch for the umbrella sections.

I have stamped the images with Black Memento Ink and then coloured with Blends Markers.  The umbrella has been punched out and the other images fussy cut.  The cute little iguana is from The Gang's All Meer Sale-a-Bration Set.

The base card is Purple Posy.  The layer of Purple Posy has also been embossed with the stunning Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder.

JUST ADD INK CHALLENGE #485 JUST ADD ONE LAYER

Hello and welcome.  Thank you for checking out my blog post today. 

Today I have been working on creating samples for the Sale-a-Bration Stamp Set Little Ladybug and decided to also get some inspiration by taking part in Just Add Ink's latest challenge "Just Add One Layer".

I do find creating one layer cards a bit of a challenge,  however, this card (and co-ordinating envelope) would have to be the easiest card I have created lately, especially as I used our great notecards and envelopes as well.

So simply stamp your chosen images and sentiment in Black Memento Ink and colour with Blends Markers.  Draw a line around the edges of the card with your Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker, and you are done.

BOTANICAL BLOOMS

While I have been very busy trying to get my craft room built and ready for the Open House/Catalogue launch this weekend I have also found some time to have fun playing with some of the new stamp sets I just received so that I could make samples for the weekend.

I couldn't wait to use the Botanical Blooms Stamp Set and co-ordinating Botanical Builder Framelits Dies.

In actual fact, this card only uses the Framelits Dies.  I think I was even very clever and created the black decorative piece by die cutting the middles of the flowers in a pattern from the black card stock and then using it on my card which looks very effective.

The sentiment is from the FREE Sale-a-Bration Stamp Set Sky Is The Limit and I have used the  Decorative Label Punch to punch it out.  I am always using this punch, it is just so versatile.

PEACEFUL PETALS - CARD 1

My first card using the Peaceful Petals Stamp Set and some of the beautiful Sale-a-Bration FREE Sweet Sorbet DSP.



I chose my colours from the DSP and went with Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding and Basic Black.



I stamped the flower twice on some scrap white card stock (once in Pistachio Pudding and once in Crisp Cantaloupe) and fussy cut each one - including the stem.  I tied a piece of Calypso Coral Baker's twine around the stem.


I also stamped three banners from the FREE Sale-a-Bration Banner Blast Stamp Set in Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe and punched them out using the co-ordinating punch.

THANK YOU CARDS

A quick share today with a
very simple card I have created 
as Thank You cards for my Stamp 
Club Members and Customers for February.

I have created these in both Coastal 

Cabana and Crisp Cantaloupe and 

used the Hardwood stamp for the 

background and just changed a

couple of details on each one. 

The  Banner Blast Stamp Set and

matching Punch with some of the

Baker's Twine from the Sale-a-Bration

Catalogue made creating the cute little 

banner very easy.

The sentiment stamp on the
top two cards is from the
Peaceful Petals Stamp Set
and I have also used a bit 
of the gorgeous new Washi
Tape from the Occasions
Catalogue.



For the last card I created 
the Washi Tape banner
by adhering the Washi Tape
to some card stock and 
then punching out with the Banner punch.
