A GOOD MAN

For today's card I have used the A Good Man Stamp Set which is a great male themed set available in the Annual Catalogue.

The image has been stamped in Black Memento Ink and coloured with Stampin' Blends and then die cut with a Stitched Circle Die.

The background has been created with watercolouring and sponging, although I'm not too sure what colours I ended up using (I created this card a few months ago and forgot to write what colours I had used).  I think it was Pool Party and Night of Navy.

The sentiments have been stamped in Night of Navy with the "It's Your Day" having been punched with a 1 3/8" circle punch (which is now retired).  The base card is also Night of Navy.

ALL GEARED UP TO CELEBRATE

As I was taking some of my older samples down from display I realised there are a few that I haven't shared with you.

This is one of them using the Geared Up Garage Stamp Set and co-ordinating Garage Gears Dies.

Of course, today's card was inspired by a number of projects I have seen on Pinterest.

The striped paper is from the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper.  A variety of cogs have been die cut from Whisper White and Night of Navy cardstock as well as from the Silver Foil Sheets.  A key from the Classic Garage Metal Elements has also been added.

ANOTHER GARAGE

Another one for the males.  This was my final card I created in a series with the Classic Garage Bundle and one I created as a class project.

I created this one as a fancy fold card which gave me some options for placing more of the great images and dies contained in this bundle.

My base card is Basic Black and my layers are Tranquil Tide.  Tranquil Tide is one of the In Colours that will be retiring at the end of May.  I am going to miss this colour a lot.

The actual measurements for my base card are the same as a usual size card, however all you need to do is cut a line on the front of the card from the centre fold to the bottom (in the middle or you could make it more off centre) and then fold one half back on itself to create the easel.

I have used the Classic Garage Designer Series Paper to decorate the front of the card and also fussy cut some of the tools from the DSP.  The gears have been die cut from Silver Foil Sheets and the tool box and oil can have been stamped on Whisper White, die cut and coloured with Blends Markers.

Above is a view of the card when it is closed.  You will see I have more die cut gears in both Silver Foil Sheet and Tranquil Tide cardstock.

The car has been die cut from a piece of the Classic Garage DSP.  How great that this die is able to be used to cut out these cars.  The sentiment I have used is actually from a retired stamp set.

In this Classic Garage Suite there are also some great metal elements and Black/Silver Striped Metallic Ribbon which co-ordinate beautifully, although I did not incorporate these in this particular project.

ALL GEARED UP TO CELEBRATE

Another card from my series of cards using the Classic Garage Suite.

This time the card has been stepped up again with lots of extra little bits added for the stamper who likes to do just a little more than creating a simple stamped card.

The base card is Crushed Curry and I have used a couple of pieces of the Classic Garage Designer Series Paper.  The red piece I have torn and sponged with black around the edges.

The car has been stamped in Real Red on a piece of Whisper White cardstock and whilst the ink was still wet I used a Blender Pen to move a little of the red ink onto the car.  This piece was then die cut and sponged with Basic Gray ink.

The sentiment has been been stamped in Black Memento Ink and trimmed to a small banner.

A piece of the Black Silver 1/4" ribbon has been adhered underneath the red piece of DSP.

The full cog die was used to cut out the cogs from Basic Black cardstock and was adhered flat on top of the red DSP.

The car and sentiment pieces have both been adhered with dimensionals and the Classic Garage Metal Element (Key) has been adhered flat to the left of the sentiment.

The edges of the whole piece has been sponged with Basic Gray ink and then adhered flat to the base card.

If you would like to create a card like this then these are the supplies I used.  Don't forget you can order any of these products through my online store and you will have them shipped directly to you.
