GET IT GIRLS - MOTHER AND DAUGHTER EVENT

Sharing today the little gift cards we created on the weekend at the Get It Girls Mothers and Daughters Girls Day Out.

What an amazing event to be involved with.  So many activities  were organised and such a lovely morning seeing the many Mums and Daughters out enjoying a very special time together.

Each participant was able to choose to create either a dog card or kitty cat card in the colour of their choice (used Gingham Gala DSP).

We were absolutely run off our feet for the whole event - a total of 3 hours - luckily I had a friend come along to help out on the day as I didn't realise just how many wanted to participate in creating a card.

KYLIES DEMONSTRATOR TRAINING BLOG HOP MAY 2019

Hi and thank you for joining me in this month's blog hop with Kylie's Demonstrator Training Group for May 2019.

We are a group of Stampin'Up! Demonstrators from all around the world that want to learn more to progress in our business.  Blogging helps us to learn and connect with people, inspiring creativity, which is one of the reasons I love Stampin'Up!.

Here is my card.

Whilst I was away on retreat I had the opportunity to create with the very cute Fable Friends stamp set which will be carrying over into the new catalogue.

For this card I also used some products which will be retiring together with the lovely bunny stamp to create this little Birthday Card.

The base card is Whisper White.  I have added a layer of Gingham Gala DSP and then one of the patterned frames from the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper.  Love both these DSP's and sadly they will both be retiring at the end of May.

I also used the Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set and co-ordinating dies to stamp flowers in Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather and the Happy Birthday sentiment.  I am very happy to say that these products are carrying over into the new catalogue.

The bunny has been coloured with Crumb Cake, Daffodil Yellow and Petal Pink Blends Markers.

A bow of Gorgeous Grape Organza ribbon (earned free during Sale-a-Bration) was added to the top of the card and a scattering of pearls (which I have coloured with the Daffodil Yellow Blends).

FAVOURITE FLORAL SETS RETIRING SOON

I was just sorting out a few of the cards I have created using some of the floral stamp sets that will be retiring shortly.

These were my favourites and are the ones I am going to miss the most.

Graceful Garden

Just loved being able to colour this gorgeous flower with the Blends Markers.

Oh So Eclectic

So many different combinations can be created with this set and I absolutely loved the co-ordinating dies.  Used this shaped one showing in the background on many cards.

Petal Palette

Another beautiful set with co-ordinating dies.  So simple to stamp, colour and die cut.  This card has been paired with some sentiments from another retiring set - Cake Soiree.

I won't be sad for too long though, because there are so many beautiful new stamp sets and co-ordinating products coming along in the new catalogue.  Can't wait to see which ones will be my favourites next.

DARLING BABY - FABLE FRIENDS BABY CARD

Today's card is again created with the very cute Fable Friends Stamp Set.  This time as a Baby Boy card.

The base card is Night of Navy with a layer of Whisper White.  I have then added a layer of the very cute Twinkle Twinkle DSP.

A piece of Whisper White has been die cut with a Rectangle Stitched Framelits Die and the bunny has been stamped and coloured with Blends Markers (Smoky Slate, Night of Navy, Petal Pink, Real Red, Pool Party).  This piece has been mounted over a Stitched Rectangle Frame as shown in the photo.

The sentiment has been stamped in Night of Navy, fussy cut and adhered to the top right of the card.  Some Linen Thread was also added.

The Little Twinkle DSP will be retiring soon, with all other products being carried over to the new catalogue.
