SAILING HOME SAMPLER FRAME

Sharing today the Sampler Frame we created in this month's Specialty Workshop.

We all used the Come Sail Away Suite together with the High Tide and Sea of Textures stamp sets to create this beautiful frame.

JULY STAMP CLUB - COME SAIL AWAY

Our project we created in the July Stamp Club.  This card was inspired by a Pinterest Pin from inspiringinkin.com.

The background has been created using drops of Ink Refills (Night of Navy, Coastal Cabana and Pacific Point) onto a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock.  The shimmer has been added by adding some Frost White Shimmer Paint.

BLOGGING FRIENDS BLOG HOP JULY 2019

Welcome to the July 2019 Blogging Friends Blog Hop.  My name is Tracey and I am from the sunny Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.   Thank you for joining me here.

The theme this month is "Summer Lovin".

I created this card for a recent card class and thought this card card was perfect for this month's theme.  Summer always makes me think of the seaside.

Absolutely love this new Seaside Notions stamp set.  I couldn't wait to start on this card as soon as I received this set.

There was a lot of stamping, heat embossing, water colouring and fussy cutting involved in creating this card.

It is also another fancy fold card and this is the view of the card after opening the first layer.  This is the scene which is peeking through the oval opening on the front of the card.

And finally the card fully open and below a little closer look at some of the detailed stamping and cutting etc.

JUST FOR FUN CHALLENGE - JULY

This month's fun challenge is all about animals.  Create a card or 3D project with animals - so many to choose from - dogs, cats, horses, pigs, chickens, cows, frogs.  Choose your own colours and do your own thing and send me a picture when you are done.

JUNE STAMP CLUB - BIRD BALLAD

Our project from this month's Stamp Club.  We used the Bird Ballad stamp set to create this beautiful card.

There is a lot of Gold Heat Embossing on this card and colouring with Water Colour pencils.

BLOGGING FRIENDS BLOG HOP - JUNE 2019

Welcome to the June 2019 Blogging Friends Blog Hop.  My name is Tracey and I am from the sunny Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.   Thank you for joining me here.

The theme this month is "My Favourite New Catalogue Product".

Well there are just so many gorgeous products that it is very hard to choose, however, as I have been playing with the Magnolia Lane Memories & More Card Pack to create some samples for my Open House, I think these are one of my most favourite products at the moment.

I have created a few projects to share with you today.

My first projects used some of the larger cards which I trimmed to fit the beautiful new Scalloped Note Cards & Envelopes.

There are some beautiful co-ordinating Magnolia Lane Memories and More Cards and Envelopes which are available, however, I managed to forget to actually put these on my pre-order, so I used the Scalloped Note Cards instead which also co-ordinated beautifully.  

My second projects incorporate some of the beautiful vellum cards included in the pack as well as some of the smaller cards.  On the back card you will see that I have fussy cut some of the leaves from the vellum and added as a simple embellishment with some linen thread and a trinket from the Bird Ballad Suite.  

My third project is a small fold out card or a tiny mini album - whatever you would like it to be.  Again, I have used the smaller Memories and More cards and some Whisper White cardstock to create this project.

An inside view

My final project is a very simple card using one of the larger cards and one of the stickers on which I have stamped the greeting.

I still have so many more plans for these beautiful cards.   I might even manage to use some in my scrapbooking (pocket pages) in the very near future.
