HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY CARD

Today's card has been created with a few of my favourite products which will be retiring soon.

I have based this card around the colours in the Garden Impressions DSP.  This DSP is so lovely with great colour combinations.

The base card is Night of Navy.  I have used the Delicate Lace Edgelits to die cut two pieces of Daffodil Yellow Cardstock which I have added to the edges of the DSP.

My favourite Birthday Sentiment from the soon to be retired Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp Set has been stamped in Night of Navy onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock die cut with a Stitched Circle die.  This sentiment has then been adhered to the centre of a Pearlised Doily and added to the card with dimensionals.  A small bow from Whisper White twine has been added to the sentiment.

A very simple card to create.

AMAZING LIFE MEETS NINE LIVES

Today's card shows off a few more products which will be retiring at the end of May.  We will be saying goodbye to the Amazing Life Stamp Set as well as one of my all time favourite colours - Lemon Lime Twist.

For this card I have used the Beauty Abounds Stamp Set to create the background, the Amazing Life Stamp Set for the sentiment and the very cute Nine Lives Stamp Set and co-ordinating punch for the kitty cat image.

The colours I chose to use are Whisper White for the base card, a layer of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock and a strip of Grapefruit Grove DSP.

The sentiment has been stamped onto an oval piece of Whisper White cardstock in Lemon Lime Twist Ink.  The sentiment has been stamped again onto a scrap piece of Whisper White in Grapefruit Grove Ink and the banner section has been fussy cut and adhered with dimensionals over the Lemon Lime Twist sentiment.

The kitty cat has been stamped with Memento Black, Smoky Slate and Grapefruit Grove and punched out with the co-ordinating punch.  I also added a cute little Lemon Lime Twist Organdy bow.

DON'T WORRY BEACH HAPPY

A little sad this set will be retiring.  This is the first time I have had a chance to use this set.

I loved being able to create this beach scene and can see so many more possibilities.

The colours I have chosen for this card are Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Shaded Spruce, Real Red, Pineapple Punch, Blueberry Bushell, Early Espresso.

JAR OF LOVE

Another one of my favourite stamp sets which is retiring this time is the Jar of Love Stamp Set and Dies as well as the gorgeous Beautifully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper.

I created this card to showcase just how beautiful this bundle is.  

The colours I have chosen to use are Calypso Coral and Petal Pink for the flowers and Soft Sea Foam and Old Olive for the leaves.

I also used the gorgeous DSP as a background to showcase the little jar of flowers.

The base card is Petal Pink with a Tranquil Tide layer (another colour I am going to miss a lot) and then a Whisper White layer.
