PERFECTLY PLAID GIFT BOXES

Today I am sharing a couple of the very cute little Gold Mini Pizza Boxes  which I have decorated with the Wrapped in Plaid Specialty DSP.

I have basically cased these projects from the Holiday Catalogue.  You will see that there are a couple of samples that Stampin'Up! have shown using this suite on pages 12 and 13.  It is just so easy to get some great ideas from the catalogues and create your own version of these littles boxes.

All you need to start is a packet of Gold Mini Pizza Boxes (8 included in the packet) and your imagination.

I wanted to use all the products I had from this Suite, although I did substitute the baubles from the Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set instead of the Christmas Trees.

On the smaller box the baubles were stamped in Gold on Very Vanilla cardstock, as well as the Merry Christmas sentiment.  I added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the smaller box which I had coloured with the Shaded Spruce Blend Marker and completed with the 1/2" Classic Weave Ribbon from the Brightly Gleaming Suite and a Gold Jingle Bell.

On the larger box (2 boxes wrapped together as shown in one of Stampin'Up! samples I simply punched an ornament from the DSP and added some vellum sprigs and a sentiment stamped in Gold.  Finished off with the Shaded Spruce/Gold Ribbon and 3 Jingle Bells - 1 of each colour.

The products I used for these two projects are here:

JUST FOR FUN OCTOBER CHALLENGE

Sharing today the card I have created for my Just For Fun October Challenge using this image for inspiration.

For the bird image I have fussy cut a bird from the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper.  I thought this little bird fitted perfectly with the colours.

The base card is Flirty Flamingo.  The next layer is Coastal Cabana which I have embossed with the Brick and Mortar Embossing Folder and then torn the edges.  The image has been mounted on Pretty Peacock die cut with the Stitched Labels Dies.

I have completed the card with some Pretty Peacock Scalloped Linen Ribbon and Faceted Dots.

FEELS LIKE FROST

The Feels Like Frost Specialty DSP is so pretty and one of my absolute favourites from the Holiday Catalogue.

The project I am sharing today is a lovely card using the very pretty photographic imagery side of this paper together with the Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set and co-ordinating punch.

The snowflakes and the label that the sentiment has been mounted on have been die cut with the Frosted Frames Dies from Silver Foil.   To create a smaller label I ran the die through twice to create the size I wanted.

The sentiment is from the Just For Hosts stamp set Greatest Part of Christmas.  This set has some lovely Christmas sentiments.

MERRY MOOSE CHRISTMAS

Today's cards have been created with the very cute Merry Moose Bundle.

How cute is he?  Merry Moose also has a co-ordinating punch making it easy to cut him out perfectly.

I fell in love with the cute little Santa hats and scarves, so of course my first card had to have them being worn by the moose.

My second card used a few products from the Wrapped in Plaid Suite as well as some of the new Ice Stampin' Glitter from the Feels Like Frost Suite.

My third card was cased from another demonstrator (Jill Van Dieren).  I had come across her very cute card somewhere on the internet and just loved how simple but effective her card is.  Thank you for the inspiration.

If you would like your own Merry Moose to play with, you can click on the products below to order directly from my online website shop.

And don't forget if you purchase the bundle you receive a 10% saving on buying the individual products.

BLOOM & GROW BIRTHDAY CARD

What is this, not a Christmas card?

No, in fact I had a piece of brick embossed cardstock left over from the card I created for the latest Blogging Friends Blog Hop which I wanted to use and create a pretty card with this time.

A pretty easy card using the Bloom & Grow Bundle with the Gold Delicata Metallic Ink.

I actually stamped and die cut two of the same flower images and then cut the middle flower piece out of one.  This middle part I added to the other piece with dimensionals and also some of the foliage which I had cut off, making it a fuller flower piece.  I also added in a couple of extra stamped and die cut pieces of foliage.

Finished off with a bow and a Happy Birthday sentiment from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set.

You probably can't see too well from the photo, but I also swiped the Gold Ink around the edges of the brick embossed piece and over some of the bricks giving some subtle highlights.

On the base card (Crumb Cake) I also stamped randomly in Gold Ink one of the background stamps from the Tasteful Textures stamp set.

BLOGGING FRIENDS OCTOBER 2019 BLOG HOP

Welcome to the October 2019 Blogging Friends Blog Hop.  My name is Tracey and I am from the sunny Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.   Thank you for joining me here.

The theme this month is "Things That Go Bump In The Night".

Again, I had a little trouble coming up with something for this theme as I don't generally buy Halloween Stamps etc as we here in Australia don't really celebrate Halloween too much.

So, again I had to think outside the box again to come up with a project using current products.

Here is what I ended up creating.

I have used stamps from the following sets to create the background - mountains from Waterfront, the birds from Sailing Home (could pass as bats), the hair of the little gremlin is the top of the palm trees from the Waterfront set.

The trees are from the In The Woods dies.  The gremlin was created with the 1" circle punch.

The background sky has been sponged randomly with Black Memento Ink and Blueberry Bushel Ink and the Brick Wall was created with the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder, torn and sponged with Black and Soft Suede Inks.

Hope you have enjoyed my card today and it inspires you to think a little outside the box.

Now it is time to see what all the other Blogging Friends have been creating.  Please follow the links below:

JUST FOR FUN CHALLENGE - OCTOBER 2019

For this month's fun challenge use the colour scheme and picture as inspiration to create a bird themed project.  Use any stamp set (current, retired or even non Stampin'Up!) and colours in this range to create your project.

You may choose to create a card, scrapbook page or 3D project .  When you are done, please send me a  photo so that I can share with everyone.

Happy creating everyone.
