FANCY FOLD CARD WITH BRIGHTLY GLEAMING SUITE

I am finally getting around to sharing a few of the projects I have been working on using products from the Holiday Catalogue.

I really love the Brightly Gleaming Suite and decided to create a fancy Stepper Card with the beautiful papers and stamp set.

I found a basic template for the card base and then changed the dimensions slightly so that the finished card would measure 5" x 5" ensuring that it would then fit into one of the square envelopes that I already had in my stash.

I used the Delicata Gold Metallic Ink to do all my stamping using the Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set and Co-ordinating Gleaming Ornaments Punch to stamp and punch out the Baubles.

Don't forget that you can purchase the stamp set and punches (2) as a bundle for $86.25 - a saving of 10% on the RRP.  You can also purchase the entire Brightly Gleaming suite of products for $169.25.

Some sprigs were punched with the Sprig Punch from Gold Glimmer paper and a bow of Gold Metallic Edge Ribbon was added to complete the card.

The colours used are Very Vanilla for the base card, Pretty Peacock for the second layer and the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper.

SEPTEMBER CARD CLASS

Our projects created in this month's Card Class.

Our first card was using the Stitched Lace Die to create a beautiful lacey background for our pretty bunch of flowers to be placed onto.

We stamped flowers from the Pop of Petals stamp set in both the new Delicata Metallic Ink and Gorgeous Grape Ink and punched with the co-ordinating punch.

Add in some various punched leaves and you have a very pretty bouquet.

Finished off with a bow of the lovely Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and a sentiment of choice.

Can you see the lovely scalloped edges on the Lace Background piece.  This die set comes with a separate die that you can use to create these scalloped sides, or you can leave straight if you wish.

Our second project used some of the Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Series Paper teamed with some Silver Foil and the Frosted Frames Dies to create this stunning.

Again, we have used the Silver Delicata Metal Ink to stamp our bauble and sentiment which is from the Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set.

It is a little hard to tell from this photo but the background white piece has also been embossed using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.

The bauble was finished off with a bow (sort of).  This was simply created by cutting a small piece of the Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon and tied in the middle with a small piece of White Twine.

SEPTEMBER STAMP CLUB

The new Holiday Catalogue is now available and I wanted to focus on the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper so both my cards are very simple to show off this most gorgeous paper.

We also used the new Silver Delicata Metallic Ink on the Christmas Bauble (from the Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set) and the Sentiment (from the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set).

The second card also used the beautiful Feels Like Frost DSP as a background.  The leaves have been die cut with the Frosted Frames Dies from Melon Mambo and the very cute Heart die cut with the Stitched Be Mine Dies from Seaside Spray.  The sentiment is from the Wonderful Moments Stamp Set.

BLOGGING FRIENDS BLOG HOP SEPTEMBER 2019

Welcome to the September 2019 Blogging Friends Blog Hop.  My name is Tracey and I am from the sunny Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.   Thank you for joining me here.

The theme this month is "Fall" showcasing new products from the Holiday Catalogue.

As we don't really have a "Fall" here in Queensland - we are actually now in Spring here - I don't usually create any "Fall" related cards.  The great thing about Stampin'Up! however is that you can always find something that you can use for whatever occasion you are celebrating.

So here is my card.

In my pre-order I did order the "Feels Like Frost" DSP and both the Silver and Gold Delicata Metallic Ink pads, so I decided to use these products as a basis for my card.

I used the absolutely gorgeous "Feels Like Frost" DSP as the base for my background.  This double sided Specialty Paper is just beautiful and it is very difficult choosing which side  to use.

For my "Fall" stamping I used the very versatile "Rooted in Nature" stamp set and co-ordinating dies.  I stamped in both Early Espresso and also added a few images stamped with the amazing new Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic Ink.  Absolutely love this new Metallic Ink.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today.  Please follow the links below to take a look at what some of the other talented Blogging Friends Stampers have been creating.
