Mother's Day Stall
I am very excited to once again be holding a pop up stall with the 1fortheGirls team at Wynnum Plaza Shopping Centre. We shall be there all week from Monday 5th May until Sunday 11th May with lots of lovely gift ideas for Mums.
I have been madly creating a lot of beautiful cards and gifts for this week.
Just some of the gift ideas I will have are these sweet little notebooks (created from a photo frame) as well as these beautiful 6" x 4" Mini Scrapbooks with matching Chocolates, Gift Bag and Cards.

TEAM GET TOGETHER PROJECT
On the weekend we had a great team get together where we did lots of stamping, chatting and eating.
It was a really fun day and we created a couple of projects, this one being a card that I created using recycled items.
You will see that I have made use of the brown packing paper we all receive in our Stampin'Up! orders. The brown paper has been ripped, stamped and run through the hexagon embossing folder to give an interesting background. The flower has also been created using the brown packing paper.
I have also used the cardboard backing off some small notebooks that I used for another project and as I didn't need the backings I was going to discard them. Decided instead to make use of them by using a crayon emboss resist technique with the hexagon embossing folder.

SPECIAL BIRTHDAY CARD
I would also like to share the special "Birthday" Card in a Box which I created recently for my daughter's 14th birthday.
I absolutely love the colours in the current paper stack and so did Nikita.
I also used the sweet "Henry Says" stamp set which unfortunately is now retired.
As it wasn't necessary to have an envelope for this card I just created it to the largest size I could from one sheet of A4 card stock and added her name at the top as a banner.
It was so much fun creating this one and I was so happy that she really loved it.

APRIL CARD CLASS (ACTUALLY WILL BE 1ST & 2ND MAY)
OOPS I made a bit of a boo boo with my dates for April Class.
As my usual class date would have been 24th and 25th April I rearranged my dates to the next week due to 25th April being Anzac Day and a Public Holiday.
In my previous post I mentioned Thursday 30th April and Friday 1st May. In fact the dates should be Thursday 1st May and Friday 2nd May.
In this class we will be creating a special Card In A Box (the card below is a sample only). We shall also create a small gift as well.
I have created this card for Mother's Day, but you can easily change the theme to a birthday.
As spaces are limited, please book ensure you book your spot early.
This week's weekly deals now available.
If you would like to place an order for any of these specials you can either go to my Online Shop by clicking on the Shop Now Button or please feel free to contact me by email or mobile.
These special deals are only available for one week until next Tuesday 22 April.

Card in a Box
Well it seems everyone is into creating these gorgeous Card in a Box cards.
This is a small version which folds down to fit into about a 4" x 4" envelope.
Aren't they just the cutest?
Very easy to create and there seems to be plenty of tutorials out there although I learnt from a member of my team.
I think my next class will be creating one of these little cuties especially for Mother's Day, but of course easily adapted to other themes.
April class dates will be Thursday 30th or Friday 1st May.
