Art & Craft Market this Sunday
I will be at the Gold Coast Potters Association Christmas Art & Crafters Market this Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. I am so looking forward to seeing all the great stalls that will be there and I have been creating lots of lovely Christmas Gifts for my stall. Why not come along and start your Christmas shopping with some handmade gifts.
Brisbane Heartfelt Event
What a fantastic day we had at Stampin'Up!'s Brisbane Heartfelt Event. Here is a picture of the lovely Heidi (my good friend and team member) and myself all very excited and ready to spend the day having fun.
It was a very big day of learning and being inspired and we have come home with so many great ideas - we just need the time to get creating.
I was amazed to find that when I uploaded my photos from the day I only had 144 photos - I could have sworn I took at least 500 - and I am so looking forward to going through all the photos of samples and getting into creating some of the fantastic ideas.
Stampin'Up! have asked us to mention our favourite item from the day and really I have to say it is so hard to pick just one thing. Everything was fantastic but if I have to pick one then I think I choose the fact that this year it was so much easier to get a really good look at, and some great photos, of all the samples, both from Stampin'Up! and Demonstrators, as it was less crowded due to half the attendees being in classes at one time and the other half able to wander between the Make n Take Tables and the Product Playground and Demos etc.
I can also now share the gorgeous name badge that was created for us by our Team Leader Petronela. We received our badges at our team meeting the Friday evening the week before this event and I have just been wanting to share it all week. Now I can. It was just gorgeous although a little bit worse for wear after our outing. Luckily I did take a photo before wearing it for the day.
I will be back with some more bits and pieces from the Event very soon, but now I have to be off creating for my next market which is on this Sunday.

Christmas "Petite Purse" Treats
How cute are these little purses created with the new Petite Purse Bigz Die. I created these little goodies for the craft market I attended last weekend and they were very popular. Inside is a little choccy.
I also had an order to provide 300 of these little bags (I didn't have to put them together - just die cut them for the customer who put together herself). Took me quite a few hours to do this many. Who knew that I had so much cardstock on hand and look at all the scraps left over.

November Stamp Club
Today I am sharing with you the two projects we created in this month's Stamp Club. This month I decided that I should pull out some of my Christmas Stamps from previous years. I do have a very bad habit of using all my newer stamps and forgetting that I have some older stamps that are equally as beautiful.
For our first card I decided to use the Snow Swirled stamp set with the new Pewter Embossing Powder. This combination gave a really beautiful and fine image. For a slightly different look to sponging, I swiped around the edges of the card stock with the versa mark ink pad and embossed as well. The sentiment has also been embossed.
The colours I chose for this card were Very Vanilla, Soft Suede and Raspberry Ripple which I think make a lovely combination. The sentiment is from the new More Merry Messages stamp set which has lots of versatile sentiments. Using this one a lot.
Supplies used: Cardstock - Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Raspberry Ripple, Stamp Sets - Snow Swirled, More Merry Messages, Inkpads - Versamark, Embossing Powder - Pewter, Very Vanilla Seam Binding, Scallop Trim Border Punch
Our next project was a cute little Gift Card Holder. There are many versions of these little holders around. I decided to decorate the holder using my very favourite Christmas Stamp Set from last year Beautiful Season.
We stamped the image in Soft Suede and then coloured the image using the Blender Pens. The Merry Christmas sentiment is from the very versatile set Teeny Tiny Sentiments - I have just stamped it and cut it out close to the words.
Inside is the little section where your gift card is held. I cut this section out using the Decorative Label and Word Window punches. I also added another sentiment on the inside. This sentiment was also from the Beautiful Season set.
Supplies used: Cardstock - Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Stamp Sets - Beautiful Season, Teeny Tiny Sentiments, Inkpads - Soft Suede, Riding Hood Red, Wild Wasabi, Labels Collection Framelits, Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder, Punches - Decorative Label, Word Window
