I have been having some fun creating cards with the new Scalloped Tulle Ribbon. Still haven't tried the Christmas Ornament on the front of our Holiday Catalogue - which is the main reason I just had to have the Tulle Ribbon - but that is next on my To Do List.
My first card I took inspiration from the card and the jar shown on page 7 of the Holiday Catalogue. I decided to combine the two pieces together and kept to the basic colours of red and white with a touch of green. I used the Joyous Celebrations stamp set which I think I will be getting a lot of use out of this Christmas.
I am loving the simple and clean look.
Supplies used: Cardstock - Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Ink - Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green, Stamp Set - Joyous Celebrations, Embossing Folder - Holiday Frame, Punches - Extra-Large Oval and Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border, Cherry Cobbler Scalloped Tulle Ribbon, Gemstone
My next card is another simple design using very much the same supplies - just different colours and adding in the stunning Champagne Glimmer Paper. This card I made as a 4" x 4" and used the colours of Very Vanilla, Early Espresso and Soft Suede Tulle Ribbon. Again, inspired in part by the card shown on page 6.
Supplies used: Cardstock - Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Champagne Glimmer Paper, Ink - Early Espresso, Stamp Set - Tags til Christmas, Embossing Folder - Holiday Frame, Punches - Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border, Decorative Label, Soft Suede Scalloped Tulle Ribbon

Last Card created in Class
Sorry didn't have time yesterday to finish my post about the cards we created in class. This was our last card and it is a case of the Christmas Card in the Stampin'Up! Holiday Catalogue (page 7). The only differences are that I have used punched card stock for the red trim and I didn't use any glitter. Such a pretty card. I am so loving the simplicity of this design - I think some of these will be my Christmas cards this year.
Supplies used: Cardstock - Gumball Green, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Ink - Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green, Early Espresso, Stamp Set - Joyous Celebrations, Holiday Frame Embossing Folder, Gemstones

September Card Class
Sharing with you today what we created in Card Class today. Thought we would start on our Christmas cards as everyone keeps saying it is only 12 weeks until Christmas.
Our first card was very simple using strips of the lovely Be of Good Cheer Christmas Papers and die cutting an ornament with the Holiday Ornaments Framelits Dies. The ornament has then been partially embossed with the Holiday Frame Embossing Folder. Finishing touches have been added with twine, some bling and our sentiment.
Supplies used: Cardstock - Garden Green, Very Vanilla, Be of Good Cheer DSP, Ink - Gumball Green, Stamp Set - Joyous Celebrations, Holiday Ornaments Framelit, Holiday Frame Embossing Folder, Cherry Cobbler Twine, Gemstones
Our second card uses the very cute Gingerbread Men from the Scentsational Season stamp set. Actually another very simple card to create as this stamp set also has co-ordinating Framelits Dies as well. Again we have used the Be of Good Cheer Christmas paper. Love that red striped paper.
The sentiment stamp has come from the very well used and loved Teeny Tiny Sentiments set.
Supplies used: Cardstock - Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Be of Good Cheer DSP, Ink - Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Marker - Cherry Cobbler, Stamp Sets - Teeny Tiny Sentiments, Scentsational Season, Holiday Collection Framelits, Dotted Scallope Ribbon Border Punch, Old Olive Scallop Dots Ribbon

Paper Players Challenge #113
I have created today's card for Paper Players #113 - Clean and Simple Challenge from Nance . When I saw this challenge I thought perfect, I can use the Petite Pennants Builder punch, which made creating the banner so easy. I have also used my favourite Christmas Paper from the Be of Good Cheer DSP range. The sentiment is from a retired stamp set.
Supplies used: Cardstock - Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Be of Good Cheer DSP, Stamp Set - Tags til Christmas, Punches - Petite Pennants Builder and Small Oval, Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine, Mini Brads, Pearls

JAI 135 CHALLENGE
Thought I would give this week's challenge at Just Add Ink a go as it is a colour challenge and I liked the sound of using Pink Pirouette, Real Red, Whisper White and Old Olive together. These make such a pretty colour combination. As the Tea Shoppe stamp set was sitting on my desk at the time I decided that this is the one I would use (first decision made). The bow at the top is actually part of the Scalloped Tulle Ribbon which I have cut down (it is actually Cherry Cobbler colour but still fits in well). I have been creating flower rosettes with my Tulle Ribbon which I will share with you soon.
Supplies used: Cardstock - Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Real Red, Old Olive, Inks - Real Red, Pink Pirouette, Stamp Sets - Tea Shoppe, Punches - Decorative Label, Extra Large Oval, Scallop Trim Border, Embossing Folder - Square Lattice, Cherry Cobbler Scalloped Tulle Ribbon and Pearls

Happy Birthday Mum
My Mum is very special and is much loved by all. It is her birthday tomorrow and I have spent the day creating her a very special one of a kind birthday card using lots of different bits and pieces.
This is the first time I have tried the technique of punching down the sides of a card and unfortunately I didn't have the retired Stampin'Up! Ribbon punch to use, but I am really happy with the punch I have used (even though it is not SU).
As you can see I have combined a lot of Stampin'Up! products with a number of other beautiful items which I have been collecting (charms, flowers, bling swirls, metal embellishments, doily). I think they have all come together beautifully.
I created my own jewelled stick pin and cut the letters for "Mum" with my Big Shot from the new and stunning Champagne Glimmer Paper.
Not a lot of stamping on this one, although I have stamped on the inside of the card where my message will be.

Special 40th Birthday Card
Sorry everyone. Been a bit quiet on here the last few weeks. I have been very busy with quite a few orders for Handmade Scrapbook Albums, Mini Albums, Birthday Books, Cards etc so haven't found the time to create too many new things to share.
I would like to share this card with you all. I made this special 40th Birthday Card for my very good friend and downline member Heidi for her birthday in August.
Loved the way it turned out. Simple and elegant. Used Pool Party, Island Indigo and Silver Glimmer together - what a gorgeous colour scheme. Will be using these colours together again. And, look at that, no stamping at all on this card. Unfortunately the ribbon punch I used here is no longer available which is a shame because it was one of my favourites.
Supplies used: Cardstock - Island Indigo, Pool Party, Silver Glimmer Paper, Punches - Ribbon Punch (nla), leaves from the Bird Builder punch, Itty Bitty Shapes, Big Shot Dies - Labels Collection Framelits and Timeless Type Alphabet (nla), Designer Frames Embossing Folder, some Bling
