Another "Fabulous Florets" Card

Whilst I was playing around creating my card for The Paper Players Challenge I had stamped some extra flowers which I had decided not to use for that particular project.  Couldn't let them go to waste, so here is another card created with the same principle and using some of the new In-Colours of Midnight Muse and Summer Starfruit together with the gorgeous Comfort Cafe DSP.

I have just received the Comfort Cafe DSP which was in my pre-order and I think this is going to be one of my real favourites for this catalogue.

Supplies used:  Cardstock - Summer Starfruit, Midgnight Muse and Very Vanilla, Inkpads - Midnight Muse and Old Olive, Stamp Sets - Fabulous Florets and Bring on the Cake, Comfort Cafe DSP, Decorative Label Punch, Houndstooth Embossing Folder, Dazzling Diamonds

Paper Players Challenge - Clean and Simple #109

Today's card has been inspired by the latest challenge on the  The Paper Players Blogspot.

The challenge was to create a clean and simple project and to incorporate paper piecing.

I have used the flower from the Fabulous Florets Stamp Set for my paper piecing.    I stamped the large and small flowers from this set in black onto the Comfort Cafe DSP and then cut them out.  I added some glass glitter to the centres to make them sparkle.

I am so pleased that this stamp set is returning in the new Catalogue, as it is one of my favourite flower stamp sets.

Supplies used:  Cardstock - Midnight Muse and Very Vanilla, Comfort Cafe DSP, Inkpads - Basic Black, Midnight Muse, Old Olive, Stamp Sets - Fabulous Florets and Itty Bitty Banners, Champagne Glass Glitter, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Itty Bitty Banners Framelits Dies

Emmanuel College Fete

I will be attending the Emmanuel College Fete this Saturday.  Here  is  a sneak peek at just some of the goodies I have been creating just for this fete.

We have many different designs in Post It Note Pads, a lot of cards just for those special fathers for Father's Day and some little notebooks for all the best dads out there.

I am looking forward to a fun day on Saturday.

Sneak Peek of ....................

Well I finally got to unpack and create with my pre-order products from the new catalogue.

I needed to prepare some make n takes for our next team meeting so decided to use this set so everyone could have a sample of one of the new stamp sets which will be available soon.

This is my first card.  Now I have seen quite a few versions of this layout which I fell in love with.  I decided to use the colour combination of Gumball Green, Primrose Petals and Midnight Muse.  I think it makes a very pretty colour combination.

I also used a sentiment from the Itty Bitty Banners Stamp Set and made it just that little bit unique by colouring in with the different coloured markers and then using the matching die to cut it out.

Supplies used:  Cardstock:  Whisper White, Gumball Green, Midnight Muse, Primrose Petals, Inkpads:  Gumball Green, Primrose Petals and Midnight Muse, Stamp Sets:  Betsy's Blossoms and Itty Bitty Banner, Punch - Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border, Itty Bitty Banner Framelits Dies, Betsy's Blossoms Wheel, Whisper White Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon

Completed Custom Orders

I would like to share with you today two new Birthday Card Compendium Books I have just completed creating for one very happy customer.  The one on the left was created with the gorgeous Attic Boutique papers and is a birthday gift for her mother-in-law.  The other one has been created with the beautiful Pocket Full of Posies papers and this is for herself.  She likes things very simple and not over embellished and so she was very happy with the result.

If anyone would like to place an order for a custom made Birthday Card Book of their own, please do not hesitate to contact me.  Prices start at $40 (these 2 were $40 each) depending on embellishments used.

If you don't live on the Gold Coast, that is no problem, as this customer lives in Victoria.  Postage can be arranged.

RETIREMENT LIST IS HERE

Well it's that time of the year again.  Our 2011/2102 catalogue is due to end at the end of this month and Stampin'Up! have now released the retirement list.

I know everyone has been eagerly waiting for this list to come out.

Click on the links below to download the retirement list and see which products will be forever gone.

These retiring products are available until the 31st August or until sold out.  Please note that due to the popularity of some products that they will sell out entirely before the end of the month - so if you really want something it is best to get in and grab it quickly.

Please also note that the list notes all the coloured inkpads are retiring.  This is because they are being replaced  with a new version "Firm Foam" pad in the new catalogue.  All the colours will still be the same.  Also, quite a few of the markers will not be sold separately in the next catalogue, so if you are collecting markers individually you may wish to check with me which ones will still be available and which ones you will need to purchase before the end of the current catalogue.

If you would like to place an order by sending me an email you can contact me by clicking here
