Very Special Birthday Card for my Mum

Sharing today the very special birthday

card I created for my Mum's 75th Birthday

celebrated this week.

I am so very lucky to have such a wonderful and

special Mum and love her dearly so

this card was created with extra special

love and attention to detail.

The colours I have used are Blushing Bride

and Smoky Slate together with some Silver

Shimmer Cardstock (now retired) for some of 

the butterflies.

Supplies used:

Cardstock - Blushing Bride, Smoky Slate, Whisper White, Silver Shimmer Cardstock

Ink Pads - Blushing Bride, Smoky Slate

Stamp Sets - Butterfly Basics, Groovy Love, Flower Shop, Petal Potpourri (retired), Balloon Bash (retired)

Punches - Pansy, Flower Medallion

Dies - Bold Butterfly Framelits, Butterflies Thinlets

September Classes

This month it is all about Christmas.

We shall be creating 2 cards and a

super cute gift box using all new

products from the Holiday Catalogue.

Classes are being held either

Thursday 24th September or

Saturday 26th September

at 90 Rio Vista Boulevard, 

Broadbeach Waters

Time:  10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

Cost is $20 and includes morning tea.

Please bring along your own adhesives

(ie double sided tape, tape runner, glue dots,

foam pop dots, liquid glue etc).  If you don't have 

your own adhesives, that is no problem

as I can supply them for an extra $5.

All other materials are included to 

complete your projects.

September Stamp Club

Our two projects from this month's

Stamp Club.

Our first project was a card which I cased from the new Holiday Catalogue using the new Embellished Ornaments Stamp Set.

Absolutely love this stamp set and matching

framelits.  Looking forward to creating lots of lovely Christmas cards with this set.

Our second project were some Christmas tags.  This time using the Oh, What Fun Stamp Set which is just perfect for creating lots of fun tags.  This stamp set is actually the co-ordinating stamp

set for the Oh What Fun Tag Project Kit, so not only can you use it with the Tag Kit but also to create so many more different tags.

Holiday Catalogue Now Available

I can't believe it is September and Spring already.

The new Holiday Catalogue is now available and has some fantastic new products.

August Card Class

Projects from August Card Class

This month we created both a

Father's Day card and a male themed

birthday card as well as a 

pretty girly card.

Our Father's Day card was created with

 very nautical The Open Sea stamp set. 

 Always great for male cards.  To create the

mottled blue effect we randomly stamped

the background stamp from the You'v Got This

Stamp Set.

Our second male themed card was a

birthday card in the always popular 

male colours of Night of Navy 

and Tip Top Taupe.

Stamp sets used to create this card were 

Banner Banter, Bohemian Borders and a

  birthday greeting stamp from the retired

 Happiest Birthday Wishes Stamp Set.

It is a bit difficult to tell from this photo

but the Tip Top Taupe piece of card stock

was embossed with the Boho Chic Embossing

Folder which had been inked with Crumb

Cake ink first.

Of course, we also needed to create a pretty

girly card.  Stamp set used here is Garden

in Bloom - one of my new favourite sets.

Colours used were Calypso Coral and 

Mint Macaron.

Who said that I don't fit in this basket?

We have just come back from 2 weeks

holiday and our beautiful girl was

very pleased to see us and just had to be

close by at all times.

So whilst I was madly getting organised

for my August class she decided that

she would squeeze herself into this small

basket.  She didn't look very comfortable but  she stayed there all day keeping

an eye on me to make sure I was not 

leaving her again.
